UtilixWeb ("we", "us", "our") operates the website utilixweb.site. We are committed to protecting your privacy. This page explains our data practices in plain language.

What Data We Collect

We collect minimal data:

• No personal data for tool use — all text, image, and file processing runs entirely in your browser. Your data never leaves your device.
• Account data (optional) — if you register, we store your email address and a hashed password in our database. We do not store passwords in plain text.
• Usage analytics — we use Google Analytics 4 to collect anonymous usage statistics (pages visited, session duration, country). No personally identifiable information is sent.
• LocalStorage — we store your language preference and recently viewed tools locally in your browser. This data never leaves your device.

File and Text Processing

All tool processing (text conversion, image compression, JSON formatting, etc.) happens 100% client-side in your browser. Exceptions are server-side file converters (Word to PDF, PDF to Word, etc.) — these files are processed on our server and deleted immediately after conversion. We do not store, log, or share uploaded files.

Cookies

We use no tracking cookies. Google Analytics may set anonymous analytics cookies in accordance with Google's privacy policy. You can opt out via your browser settings or a browser extension like uBlock Origin.

Third-Party Services

• Google Analytics 4 — anonymous usage statistics. Google Privacy Policy
• Google Fonts — fonts loaded from Google CDN. Google may log your IP for font delivery.
• Cloudflare CDN — some libraries (QRious) load from Cloudflare CDN.

Data Retention

If you create an account, your email and password hash are stored in our database until you request deletion. Uploaded files (for server-side converters) are deleted immediately after processing. Analytics data is retained by Google per their policies.

Your Rights

You have the right to access, correct, or delete any personal data we hold about you. To request account deletion or data access, contact us at the email below.

Children's Privacy

UtilixWeb is not directed to children under 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children.

Changes to This Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy occasionally. Changes will be posted on this page with an updated date.
