Your PDF is sent to our server and processed using pdf2docx — a Python library that analyzes the PDF's visual layout and recreates it as an editable Word document. The file is deleted from our server after conversion.

Known limitations
- Scanned PDFs (image-only) — text is not extractable without OCR
- Complex multi-column layouts may reflow slightly
- Custom/embedded fonts may fallback to standard fonts
- Password-protected PDFs cannot be converted
